Google Summer of CodeGoogle Summer of Code provides students with the ability to work on the open source Hackystat project. Overview In 2008, the Hackystat Project was selected as a participant in Google Summer of Code. This enabled four students to work on the Hackystat Project during the summer and gain experience with the development of an open source project. Not only that, they were paid $4,000 by Google and received a cool t-shirt at the end of the summer! The Google Summer of Code project provides students with excellent software development experience as well as a unique addition to their professional resume. Google has again selected Hackystat as a participant for the 2009 Google Summer of Code. We look forward to the contributions from the students this summer!
